The Democratic Republic of Congo has invested over 90 million euros in sports sponsorship contracts with three major European clubs. These partnerships were concluded in quick succession, between June 18 and July 1, by the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Tourism. The Congolese government aims to increase the country's international visibility, particularly in the tourism sector. The sponsorship contracts should feature the mention 'RDC cœur de l'Afrique' on the players' match or training jerseys, on various displays in the stadiums and on social media. On this Instagram post from the official AS Monaco account, we can see striker Ansu Fati wearing a jersey with the 'RDC cœur de l'Afrique' logo on the left sleeve.
